Today I did loads of editing in the 3d software, B;ender 3d on a model set from blend swap. i rendered it and prepared it to go in to scene 6 shot 2. I’ve also created and uploaded a new trailer to youtube. And finally I’ve done a load of pr and stuff

This is due to edit progress and the need for more space to get the finalised distribution cemented.

Major Announcement – Equipment
Hi, Writer and director Sophie J Lees here. I have a major announcement about the equipment of this film.
All equipment has now been ordered and is awaiting to be dispatched and delivered. This is very exciting as it means that pre production will be completely done soon and the shoot can go ahead next month as planned.
I got the equipment on amazon and my DSLR from Argos. This means my whole kit cost around £710 – the camera was about £290 from argos and the rest was £420 from amazon. This is a fraction of the cost of a full on industry kit with the top top high end equipment.

Director’s Weekly Production Blog: Friday 6 February 2015
This week I have been focusing on and working on the Narrative relaunch and re-shake. I have also set the date of the REBRAND RELAUNCH, which is Friday 13 February 2015; a very “un”lucky day to relaunch it. I Have made great progress in the character development and have created very in-depth character bibles for my main character and my 2 supporting characters. I have also chosen all the locations (3 main locations with smaller settings within them), I am waiting for final confirmation and further exploration (photos and test shots will be coming soon so look out in the galleries for that). There has been steady work and progress on PR and Marketing projects IE the Vlog and other video and photo teasers, Look for them too. I have been working really fast on the updated scene treatment and have got the story pretty much set. On top of all this and the reason of all of this is due to my on going research, which I finished on Wednesday just gone, into Alien abductions, sleep paralysis and close encounters as well as sci-fi and thriller shows and films. This gave me the tools and ideas on how to solidify my final narrative and film look. My pitch video will explain more so watch out for it as it will be uploaded soon.
